MANDALAS

" Coloring offers an experience of 'FLOW' a mental state where we become so immersed in an experience that time and space no longer disrupt the present moment.

The meaning of a mandala comes from Sanskrit "circle". It has a concentric structure that offers balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity and harmony. It's use is to be visually appealing so as to absorb the mind so that chattering thoughts cease. The mandala can become a hypnotic tool, allowing the creative part of our brain to run a little more free while our analytic mind takes a nap. So, coloring a mandala becomes a form of meditation. Sitting down and coloring a mandala also offers a kind of color therapy. Take this time for yourself and see where it takes you.
